OOTD: A splash Ube & icetea

Attending a 40th wedding anniversary and wearing Violet at the Diamond Hotel, because I love Kohikan's Ube (Taro) enseymada. :p While the pictures below were not taken at the event I attended, I took pictures at the coffee shop because I ate said enseymada. 

I usually don't post OOTDs, because:

1. I never follow trends. I usually wear whatever I like.

2. I stick to basics. If you open my closet, most of my clothes are basically in the same color family, though there are times that I buy dresses/outfits other than monotonous colours just because I find them pretty.

3. I don't accessorize as much as other people do.

4. I own less than 10 pairs of shoes. 

With all the reasons stated above, I honestly think that I don't make a good fashion blogger. I just dress in clothes that I think look good on me and I am comfortable with. (If you've noticed I also wear the same makeup every time.)

VALERIA DRESS (VIOLET) One-shoulder satin dress with ruching

All of Shop Luca's clothes are very comfortable to wear. The fabrics they use are soft and silky. I think I may need to get more as I have already worn all the dresses I ordered from them. I love how their dresses fall down and how they look when I wear them. Although I just order the medium size which is a bit loose in some areas for me.

Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the Ube ensaymada. Next time I will try to remember to take a picture before I eat it all up. LOL! x) Maybe I ought to dedicate a whole post to it in the future. I'll just end this post with a picture of me and a glass of ice tea. :)

mother's day OOTD + FOTD

Our family celebrated mother's day yesterday to avoid crowded and jampacked restaurants. I realize I haven't posted FOTDs and OOTDs for quite a while so I'll show you what I was wearing yesterday ---

This dress is so comfortable. The one I bought is a bit loose on the waistline. I love how demure it looks in the front with a daring twist on the back. I love wearing white clothes, because it never goes of style, and there is something about white that just makes it elegant and sophisticated.

Blair commented that she loved my makeup - Thank you hun! :) It stayed on for more than 12 hours so I'm pretty contented with the products I used. I will do a food post soon! I really didn't take many pictures of myself yesterday, as I was more interested in taking food pictures. Hence, I ended up with solo iPhone pictures. Sorry for the poor quality.

Hi everyone! I hope my blog still has followers hahaha! I apologize for not posting sooner. I have had some personal stuff to deal with and I have decided to make a few changes on my blog.

Anyway, I celebrated my birthday last January 22 which was also the eve of Chinese New Year so we welcomed the year of the water dragon at Li Li Chinese Restaurant with relatives and friends.

I love the dress from Luca. I had to go to their Eastwood store to pick it up but it was worth it! I have bought other dresses from them. Let me know if you want to see those in future OOTDs. :)

Cake number 1 from Cafe Roces. Of course I just had to eat breakfast in one of my favorite restaurants. :)

Cake number 2 from Personnalisée Cakeshop. I chose the design myself because we were also celebrating Chinese New Year.

Cake number 3 from Li Li at Hyatt Hotel and Casino Manila. 

YAY! I got another cake. :) I must be lucky this year haha! The staff at Hyatt Hotel as I have previously said are very nice and accommodating to their guests.

A bunch of cupcakes were given to me by Miss Joy of Personnalisée Cakeshop.

Thank you for the yummy and super cute cupcakes! :3 The cupcakes made me and my guests smile.

Remember my post HERE? I said I will do an outfit of the day with the bag I got. I have decided that I won't be doing just one outfit because the babies (my sisters) and I were playing dress up a while ago. 

The bag I picked up has 2 straps - a gold chain and the other strap is made of leather; it may also be used without a strap as you can see in the picture.

It's been raining pandas and koalas again in the Philippines hence the title is from LMFAO's song Champagne Showers, and yes, I was dancing in the pictures. :P Those were totally candid - one of the babies took the pictures. 

Pigging out + playing dress up + dancing during rainy days for the win!!! :D I honestly think I ought to start going out again. :p

Wouldn't it be fun if it rained champagne for a change? LOL! :P

Once again my big foot triumphed over me and none of the shoes fit me. I do understand though, extremely large feet like mine only happen in my family are very rare so it's not advisable for companies to manufacture big sizes. Filipinos are not known to have big feet, no?
