Teddy Girl - Light Pink or a very milky pink. It's a color that would flatter most skin tones.

I applied 2 coats without a base and without a top coat. Please forgive the streaky nail application as I just quickly applied it to take a picture of what it looks like when it's on. 

I recommend vigorously shaking the nail polish for a smoother application. I did find it to be a tad streaky but it's not that difficult to work with. The formula is rather opaque and the color is really pretty! (Yes, I will buy more nail polishes. :p )

Hamham and I went to ArmyNavy after going to mass today. :) Above is a picture of what we ordered. I am absolutely inlove with their Libertea (Small 55Php, Large 65Php). 2. Some of you lovely people asked me to do nail swatches of the nail polishes I posted from my last haul. I actually bought a few more.
FYI, I don't usually wear nail polishes and really don't spend much on them but I just couldn't resist the Pirates of the Caribbean collection. :P I thought I should get them in minis rather than big bottles because of the aforementioned reason.

Thoughts: 

The OPI nail polishes go on smoothly and dry quickly. However the glittery one with the scandalous name is very hard to remove LOL! x) There is one shade which was a bit streaky on the Pirates of the Caribbean collection although I can't remember which one was it.

The Face Shop Milky nail polishes are a bit streaky too and aren't as opaque as I'd like nail polishes to be. :/ 

3. My sister Hamham went out last night and asked me to do her makeup. Since I was tired and bored, I agreed. LOL! :p

TIPS:

- To give eyelashes an oomph, cut one false eyelash in the middle; then apply on the outer part of your eye; you may also layer the lashes.

- Using a matte and neutral lipstick underneath a lipgloss can bring out the color of the lipgloss especially if your lips are pigmented.

NOTD - Catrice Purplelized

A while ago I received a very lovely mail from witoxicity, which contained a bottle of Catrice Purplelized and a very lovely postcard! :) I really enjoyed reading the post card because it had a personal touch in it. <3

I have been witoxicity for quite some time and she has the most honest and detailed reviews on a different variety of products! She also does tutorials on her blog which I find very helpful. :3

I am very happy that I got to try this wonderful nail polish because this is a brand that I cannot locally buy in my country.

It's a very lovely purple - aubergine nail polish that has tiny sparkles or micro glitters in it! :)

Yes, it is indeed a surprise because I was the surprise winner of this nail polish on her blog. LOL! :) I always comment on her blog because I find all her posts extremely interesting. :D

Application - is very easy, goes on smoothly & there is no streaking. The glitters do not form chunks.

Drying Time - Very Fast! :)

Price - No idea as it was a gift. =)

Lasting Power - 4th day on my nails and there is still no chipping, whatsoever. 

Overall - I'd say this is probably at par with high end nail polishes if not better, my only complaint is that it's not available in my country.

Oh yeah I finally have a nail polish post! I feel so left out because everyone is making nail polish posts again.

NOTD - my first attempt at fimo nail art + tutorial :3

Before you scroll down I just want everyone to know that I'm a noob  at nail art and have no prior experience. I just bought fimo sticks because I thought they were cute. :p And since I already had fimo sticks I thought I ought to put them into good use.

So here's what I did....

These are the nail polishes I used. 

All of the polishes are from Etude House, the brown one is from their matte line, the sparkly-glittery green one is from their LuciDarling collection and I used the Jelly Pop to bind the fimo slices on my nails as well as to coat my nails.

Random fimo slices. 

I got the fimo sticks from Onestop Kikayshop - the seller ships internationally. :) She's also very helpful & replies to questions within a day. Of course I just to ask her a lot of questions. LOL!

I used a blade to cut the fimo sticks. :) The seller recommended that I use a blade because it will give thinner fimo slices. Next time I think I'll use a scalpel. x)

These are some of the fimo slices I used.

This is what I ended up with.

1. I used matte brown for the lower half of my nails.

2. I painted the upper half with the sparkly green polish.

3. I put clear nail polish (Jelly Pop) on the areas I wanted to stick the fimo slices into.

4. I put the fimo slices one by one. As you may notice from the picture I did not follow any pattern. I just stuck the fimos everywhere. x) 

5. Then used the Jelly Pop as top coat. 

I wonder how long the fimo slices will last? LOL!

I never post about my nails and I suppose it's about time that I do...
Please bear with me for a few more Etude House posts. :3 I promise to post about other brands after this Etude House phase hahaha! xD

#1 Tea Beige

I really like this color. Looks like milk-tea but is a more beige. It's really pretty!

I had this on my nails on my last FOTD.

#2 Latte Brown

This is a chocolate brown. Not as matte as Tea beige is but is also a pretty color. 

I have it on my nails right now.

#5 Java Blue

This is a midnight blue and has glitters in it. O.o I find it rather weird that

a matte nail polish has glitters but this is also very pretty on my nails. :p

2 coats applied on my nails without clear polish on top.

I did not want to put clear polish because it will defeat the purpose of putting matte nail polish as the clear polishes have a glossy shine.

My NOTD in Etude House #2 Latte Brown Matte Nail Polish.

Because I did this I am now conscious of my hands and will try to take better care of it. LOL! :p

Review:

- All the polishes are opaque and very milky except for #5 Java Blue. The consistency is rather thick/creamy but is easy to work with. I do not feel the need for a clear nail polish to top it off. :3

- These dry quite fast. These are the fastest drying nail polishes I've ever tried.

- The price is around 100++Php per bottle. I am not sure how much each bottle would cost when Etude House Philippines releases it. These nail polishes aren't locally available yet. :)

- Overall I'd say that these are great nail polishes and anyone who wants matte nails should give it a go. :)

Edit: Crisel asked me about the staying power.

Tea Beige lasted on me for more than a week :) It did not chip and peel off. ^__^

update: 

Matte brown - hasn't chipped off on the 2nd day and is still matte. :) 

Edit: G asked where I bought the nail polishes.

All the nail polishes were bought from my favorite Korean seller on eBay - bhappywithme she's super nice and always gives me freebies Yay!!! ^-^ She also ships the item within the day or the day after the payment is settled so I highly recommend her store for Korean makeup products that aren't locally available. 

Also, all the items in her shop are genuine and aren't knock offs. I have bought from some sellers whose items were highly suspicious. =___= I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. >.<"

(I hope this didn't suck as I am not used to reviewing nail polishes. =____=)
