A Haul of All Sorts.. (again!!)

Hello everyone! :) I haven't bought makeup for about a month so I ended up hauling different products again. I have an excuse for buying everything you'll see below. I cannot wait to try everything out!

Majolica Majorca Jeweling Pencil in 71 (Short Review + Tip + FOTD)

I have been looking for another eyeliner to use for my waterline. As much as I love lining it with a white eyeliner, I often find that white is a bit too strong and just looks very unnatural in some pictures. 

It is a champagne Gold. I have yet to find a Peach eyeliner. :)

As you can see from the swatch above, this particular eyeliner contains glitters. If you have sensitive eyes, I suggest you stay away and find another eyeliner because this might irritate your eyes. I on the other hand would have to say that I really like this eyeliner. :3

The lasting power amazed me and the color makes my eyes pop out without being too obvious. I would have to say though that this feels a bit scratchy, it does not go on as smoothly as some of my eyeliners do. I suspect that the glitters may be the culprit but I still love it! It's available at all Majolica Majorca counters and it's also very affordable. 

TIP: Use a Peach, Champagne or Gold eyeliner instead of White to make your eyes more alive without being too obvious.

Picture taken with iPhone 4. I think the flash washes out the color of the blush and I applied it heavily so everyone can see the lovely pink color it gives. I will be doing a separate review with swatches of Dandelion.

As I have previously stated - I tend to act goofy in real life although people don't suspect I do. :P

I have always wanted to have my picture taken with the pose below. A headshot with a mesmerized stare.. :P Please excuse the vanity. LOL! x)

I used Photoscape to edit the photo. In the first photo, I just reduced the noise since the picture was taken with an iPhone. I then played with the lighting in the 2nd and 3rd photo. Which among the three do you like? :)

Have you noticed that product names seem to be getting longer lately? Or is it just me..? O.o

Before you see my FOTD, I feel that I must inform you that this is my first time to use a bronzer. :P I actually had bought many drugstore bronzers which I have never touched. I find that most drugstore bronzers are so shimmery and kind of look intimidating so I use them as eyeshadows LOL! :P

This is sort of a first time for me ok? :3

Also, I would like to note that I did not look like a toasted beach bum in real life and my camera seems to be exaggerating the bronzed look for reasons I do not know. :/ This looks so much natural and prettier in real life. I will have to deal with my cameras settings one of these days.

I put a broken line as a mark for all the areas I applied bronzer on.

It's sort of like the number "3". 

I previously learned that holding cute props will make your pictures more appealing. :p Hence, here I am with Hello Kitty.

Also, if you watched Xiaxue's latest tutorial on how to achieve noticeable lower lashes without applying lower falsies, you will notice that it's what I did on my lower lash line. :)

Majolica Majorca Sugary Trap Jeweling Eyes compact in Caramelisee BR631

I also picked up this item from the Sugary Trap collection. I shouldn't be buying more makeup but I just couldn't resist this and the Strawberry Macaron blush because these items are both LE. 

I also want the Sugar Cookie - "sweet sparkly pinks" Jeweling Eyes compact! I however told myself that I should only pick one. I hope the other palette doesn't get sold out too soon.

Comes in a plastic case that is sturdy. :) 

I have tested this when I dropped my other palette twice and it never broke. LOL! :P It also comes with a sponge tip applicator which is great for applying this eyeshadows!

I have previously mentioned that these quads have a different consistency as compared with other eyeshadows so using your fingers, a sponge or a very dense eyeshadow brush would make the application a breeze.

I would describe the colors as follows:

- A golden shimmery golden brown.

- A light taupe.

- A reddish or coppery brown.

- A deep chocolate brown.

PROS:

- Very smooth, creamy or buttery to to the touch.
- Lasts for quite a long time.
- Does not crease.
- Colors are easy to blend.

- Affordable. 

- The pigmentation of this palette is very decent and I would say that it is more pigmented than the other Jewelling Eyes compact that I have tried.

CONS:
- Limited edition! Get one now before supplies run out. :P

NEUTRAL:

- shimmery & sparkly!!! (Might be a con to some people but I do love things that sparkle. :P 

OVERALL:

I would say that this is a good palette for everyday use. The colors are buildable and is perfect for anyone who is looking for a neutral palette.  

YAY! It comes with instructions. :)

I never follow directions because I believe that each eye shape is different and eyeshadow users should find out what is best for their eyes so I came up with this look.

Majolica Majorca 's Sugary Trap Puff de Cheek in PK 303 Strawberry Macaron with swatches

I just had to get this LE (Limited Edition) blush. :3 I couldn't help it! I was afraid it would go out of stock if I waited longer as I heard these were sold out the day these were released in Japan...

The Puff de Cheek blushes come in this really cute metal tubs and kind of resemble, yes, you guessed right, MACARONS! LOL! xD

comes with a really cute puff applicator that has a really cute ribbon too. :3

 I haven't used the puff because I just don't want to but it seems that it will be a good applicator for the product.

The colour is brighter in person.

It is a bright pink. It is a very pretty and cheerful color.

Don't let the color scare you unless you have very fair skin.

PROS:

- Inexpensive.

- Color payoff is very decent. It is quite pigmented but sheer at the same time - you may find yourself having to build the color. A contradiction is it not? But believe me it was the case for me.

- There's 7g of product in the pan. I think that is quite a lot for a blush. :)

- The powder is finely milled and it has a very silky texture. The texture reminds me of Shu Uemura's glow on blushes.

- Pretty packaging! :P

- Makes skin radiant without the glitters and shimmers.

- Did not break me out.

CONS:

- LE. May be hard to acquire outside Asia.

- Pretty packaging may get scratches and dents. >.<

NEUTRAL:

- Semi matte finish.

- No scent.

- Product comes with a very cute puff.

- Lasting power is decent.

Overall I really like this blush and have been using it since I picked it up. Although I do plan to not hit the pan because I want to collect makeup with pretty paackaging. :P

I used the Jewelling Eyes palette and added a bit of Paul & Joe Pearl Powder in 04 to make my eyes pop out more. And yes, I do love shimmers. =) I know my eyelashes are coming off! LOL! I ran out of my favorite Dolly Wink eyelash glue. :( I need to get a better eyelash glue than the one I am using now. Any recommendations? :)

Review - Majolica Majorca Jewelling Eyes & Rouge Majex

I have been a good girl. I only purchased 2 items. =P

Jeweling Eyes PK 785

I wanted to try Majolica Majorca's eyeshadows. :P I have been seeing so many good reviews on it and have been curious for some time. So I headed on to their newly opened counter at SM Makati. I chose the palette because I want something that is wearable. It is not the most pigmented among the quads in the counter but I do prefer summer makeup to be lighter and more natural.

Instructions on how to apply the eyeshadow.

Tips:

- Use the sponge tip applicator provided with the quad, another sponge tip applicator, your fingers or a very dense brush in applying the eyeshadow/s.
- The colors are buildable and do not crease so just keep adding till you achieve your desired look.
- This did not crease on me even without an eyeshadow primer but I do recommend that you use one so that the colors will last longer.

Swatches.
No base.

PROS:


- Very smooth, creamy or buttery to to the touch.
- Lasting.
- Does not crease.
- Colors are easy to blend.
- shimmery & sparkly!!! (Might be a con to some people but I do love things that sparkle. :P )

CONS:


- The colors might not show up on dark skinned ladies. :/
- One color on this palette is not as pigmented as the other 3 colors but that's ok since it can still be used as a highlight. :)

Rouge Majex BE210 - 495.00 pesos

comes with a doe-foot applicator.

Swatch.

I think this will compliment my favorite P&J lipstick. =) This can be worn alone or on top of a lipstick. As you can see from the picture it is rather sheer but quite buildable. It has a decent staying power. The packaging is pretty so that's a big PLUS in my book! 

I recieved this makeup pouch as a GWP (gift with purchase) because I purchased over 1,000 pesos.

The pouch is very roomy. :3 

A perfect makeup tote for everyday use!
