LOL! Excuse the silly picture. >o<"

So... I finally started buying Christmas presents and somehow ended up hauling in Etude House. LOL!
Sunscreen, milky-white, creamy, light and easily absorbed by the skin. Doesn't feel heavy & sticky
like other sunscreens.
I'm a sucker for cute packaging!!! But who can resist these babies right?
Missing U handcreams. Composed of 4 different variants, each representing an endangered specie.
The Seal (green tea) was sold out so I got Penguin (powder) & Panda (peach).
Etude House says -- Missing U Hand Cream is formulated with natural mixture of herbs, Shea Butter and Olives to moisturize, heal and soothe hands.

Pear shaped container features on of four available endangered or near endangered animal friends:
More lip glosses!
Different applicators. Hmmm...
with flash
without flash
nail polishes! i tried to swatch  these but the
the plastic which I swatched on reflected the flash so I didn't bother uploading anymore. :/
I purchased more than Php2,000.oo and was given a kit of Mini Size U which is said to shrink enlarged pores.
Whoaaaa!! Just what I need. Will try and let everyone know if this works for me.

So are you all lovely ladies done with your Christmas shopping or do you like to run around and shop at the last minute like I do? LOL! =))

Meet my sisters Enky (FOTD) and Bea (FOTN)

Little sisters are the cutest, most huggable, fluffiest, and most sinister + bratty gifts from heaven that annoy the hell off a person from time to time but will always remain priceless & irreplaceable. :3

Meet my younger sisters Enky and Bea. =)

Enky is my youngest sister. She usually doesn't wear makeup. Although she has mentally claimed and uses my MAC Hipness blush and Benefit High Beam. She wanted a simple neutral look. So....
Yes, I also took the photos. YAY for multi tasking. LOL!
Enky

Face:
- Rimmel Fix & Perfect foundation primer
- Revlon PhotoReady 005 Natural Beige
- MAC Studio Fix Foundation in NC30
- Elf Healthy Glow Bronzer in Sun Kissed
- Smashbox Blush/Soft Lights Duo Under/Cover
- MAC Hipness Powder Blush

Eyes:
- Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion
- Etude House Bling bling eyestick in Butterfly Star
- Prestige Eyeliner E.30 White
- In2it Waterproof gel liner in WG01 very black
- MAC Eyeshadow in Cross Cultural & Amber Lights
- Urban Decay Skyscraper multi-benefit mascara & Majolica Majorca Lash Expander
- Elf eyebrow kit in Light

What she puts on her lips isn't makeup so I'm not going to list it down.

Bea wanted a night time look that she could wear for partying since Christmas parties seem to be happening here and there. She also wanted green eyeshadow. I experimented with Green eye makeup and Red lips. I'm using this season as a very convenient excuse for getting away with something so bright and colorful. After all we do associate Red & Green with Christmas, right? :3

I swear this looks better in real life. :/
Bad camera...

Bea

Lips:

Both my sisters have super tiny eyelids. >o<"

Now for the special part of my post! Art work is by Me. I used Photoscape to edit their pictures.

I'm sure they'll both kill me if they see the photos below. But I think they're super cute so I'm sharing and hope that they don't see this post. >:) (Insert sinister evil laugh here)

 She's cute isn't she? :3
 Ohhh!!! It's Hello Kitty.
Enky told me before that people often tell her that she
resembles Hello Kitty and I literally rolled out laughing non-stop
till she walked out on me. :p
It's a snow Bunny! :o3
I made one for Bea too because she saw me making the photos
above. Then she got mad because she said Enky's were cuter.
Sigh... :/

Sorry if I put my watermark across their pictures but Enky's has already had a lot of experience with people stealing her photos online.

Bea was nice enough to make a watermark for me but I need it with no background. So I'm going to ask her to edit it later ---

Super cute right? LOL! Please disregard the number of times I use the word cute on this post.
What do you guys think? Should I use it?

That's all for now. Have a lovely weekend everyone!

P.S. I haven't bought a single gift for anyone except for myself. :p

Sigma - Sigmax High Definition Synthetic Brushes

Hi everyone! :3

I just want to share the pictures of my latest purchase. Ever since I saw Holly Ann-AeRee do a video on Sigma Sigmax brush set I knew I had to get one. I previously acquired a Sigma Nice in Pink Travel set and was pretty impressed with the brushes so I went and ordered the Sigmax HD Syntetic brushes too.

I will let the pictures do the talking --

The blue packaging is so pretty! :3
A brochure with a description of each brush.

All the brushes come with their own brush guards. :)

From L-R F84 Slanted Top Kabuki,
F82 Round Top Kabuki and F80 Flat Top Kabuki.
 Pretty brushes must camwhore. xD

Here are the brushes with their descriptions taken from the Sigma's site
F80 Flat Top Kabuki
This exclusive flat top synthetic kabuki was designed to deliver a flawless makeup application. The Sigma Makeup F80 is a buffer brush that can be used to blend powder or liquid products. The short and dense bristles make it easy to buff your liquid foundation. The long handle adds comfort to your makeup application. The synthetic fibers are ideal to be used with liquid products and can be easily cleaned.

F82 Round Top Kabuki
The F82 Round Top Kabuki brush simplifies precise makeup application under the eyes and around the nose. This brush is also perfect for achieving flawless coverage using liquid and powder products. Made of Synthetic Sigmax HD filament.

F84 Slanted Top Kabuki
The F84 Angled Top Kabuki brush is the perfect brush for precise, yet blended application of products on the cheeks. It seamlessly applies cream, powder and liquid products. Made of Synthetic Sigmax HD filament.

My Initial thoughts on the brushes:
Super soft! As in velvety soft and nice to touch. All the brushes are dense and seem promising. I can't wait to try these for makeup application! I imagine that it will make my life a lot easier.
I washed all the brushes after I took their photos and they're taking quite a while to dry. =/ During the initial washing I didn't notice any bleeding and only about a couple of hairs came off. :)

Super soft and dense. :3
Look at how fluffy my brushes look!
More pictures! x)

A free gift! Who doesn't love a free gift? :3 I have
2 of these brushes now.

Description from their site: Blending - E25
Oval-shaped brush with gently chiseled sides. Blends and softens the look of powder or cream shadows. Ideal to apply eye shadow primer, base eye shadow colors, and blend harsh lines.

I bought the brushes from - Pinkslippers@Multiply or Pinkslippersbotique@FB

The seller , Ms. Trisha is nice and is prompt in replying to queries. For those who live in the Philippines, she will have ship out your purchases within the day or the day after payment has been settled. :) Yes, I'm impatient. I love sellers who don't make me wait. She even included the free gift in the set and included 2 free gifts during my first purchase. :3 I'm definitely buying from her again.

Have you tried Sigma brushes? If you have please share your experiences.

Let me know if you lovely ladies want me to review these brushes. :)

Sedona Lace 120 1st Edition Eyeshadow Pallete Review

This review is long overdue... :/

I ordered the 120 1st edition eyeshadow palette from Sedona Lace last July or August I think, because I was reading as well as hearing a lot of raves about it among bloggers and youtube gurus.

First of all as you might have noticed from my previous posts, I am not much of an eyeshadow person. I mean, I usually don't wear eyeshadow on a daiy basis. However, they had an amazing deal which I found irresistible and just found myself buying the palette. Plus, the colors IMO were amazing. The palette had marble colored eye shadows which I was really curious about.

I do have eyeshadows even if I don't use them that much. Some brands that I use are Smashbox, Guerlain, MAC, Maybelline, etc. which I usually pile on my dresser.

I think it took a month for it to get here and I blame it on the Philippine customs because they always take extremely long... :/ What I really liked though about Sedona Lace was their customer service. All I ever had to do was message them on FB - I got prompt replies on all my queeries. Also, the people working for Sedona Lace are very friendly.

The packaging was impressive - everything was neatly secured in a bubble wrap. I apologize for not having pictures of it. I was just too eager to open and start playing with my new palette.

Now that I had it for months and as you might notice from the pictures my palette is very abused and used. xD I have been using it whenever I go out and haven't really bought any eyeshadow since I got it. I attribute that to the fact that I'm not an eyeshadow fan and the palette is just so AMAZING because it pretty much provides everything I need. Yes, it did not disappoint and still lives up to my expectations up to now!

PROS:
- The colors are amazing. I often read people say some of the colors are repetitive. I don't think they are. Some of the colors are matte while others are metallic and some shimmery.
- The colors are very pigmented! The color payoff is wonderful (I originally put amazing here too. LOL!).
- A little goes along way with these eyeshadows and all the colors especially the sheer ones are buildable.
- The price! It's only $28.95 and you may use promo codes to further reduce the price I.E. TheRealKingBob for $4.00 off your purchase.
- The packaging is efficient. It has a ribbon so that you can pull to take the pallets out.
- The colors when blended don't turn into an ugly hue. :/ My sister used to have another palette from another online company in which the black kept turning blue when blended.
- The pallet is efficient. No need for other eyeshadows for highlighting and whatnot. The color range provides the user with a wide choices.

CONS:
- The colors/pigments keep sticking to the black case as you can see from the pictures. :/
- They don't have resellers in my country although they ship worldwide. I still say it's easier to buy from a reseller because I get extremely impatient waiting for the courier.

See... The Black case is dirty but that's because I always use it! :)

So colorful!!! I know it looks abused but really... I've been
using it a lot.

close up :3

Swatches of the colors above. 2 swipes using fingers w/o a base
I know the Metallic blue should have come before the black one I don't
know why I swatched it that way either. LOL!

The marble eyeshadows are soooooo pretty! :3
No, the pigments aren't falling apart and all over.
My little sister played, poked and murdered some of the
eyeshadows.

Excuse the pigments all over the case, but I still think
this is one very beautiful pallete.

Random Swatches. I assure you, these look better in person. The camera
is not doing justice to how pigmented the colors are..

Ok, ok.. I'm still learning how to do eyemakeup but
these are some looks I did with it.
Last picture!

Overall, I'm very satisfied and happy with my pallet, while I usually buy other makeup items I don't think I'll be buying another eyeshadow for a while.

Sedona Lace hosts a contests weekly on Twitter - @
Facebook fan page - http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sedona-Lace/119334004766579 - for updates and more contests.

P.S: Kabukis are only $12.95 right now on their site. Is there anyone in the Philippines who wants to order? xD I have been lemming for the Midnight Lace kabuki brush because it's so pruuutttyyyy!!! :3

NYX Snow white :3

Hi everyone!  I thought of getting another Red lipstick since I thought it kind of matched the upcoming Holidays. I decided to try NYX since I really like their lip gloss and have been reading/hearing a lot of good feedbacks about their lipsticks.

NYX is a company that sells good quality makeup comparable to that of high end brands at drug store prices.
It's not locally available in the Philippines but there are a many of online sellers here who have on-hand NYX items.

The packaging is sleek and elegant. Definitely doesn't look cheap.

One can easily see what color the lipstick is just by looking at the bottom.

It's a gorgeous Red shade. I think it's flattering for most Skin tones, even those with yellow undertones can easily pull this off! :3

Swatch.

True to it's name, Snow white definitely gives you lips as red as blood. :p

It's velvety and creamy. The color is rich, very pigmented. Just one swipe will be
enough. No need for 2nd coats. :3

The lasting power is decent. I find that I have to re-apply it after eating, drinking and smoking.
I also find that it kind of stains my lips but that doesn't bother that much me since the product is very pigmented and that is to be expected.

I also find that it doesn't dry out my lips although I think it's matte. It's very moisturizing and can be applied alone without a lip balm.

Must cam whore... >o<"

For reference I wear MAC Studio Fix NC 30 and Revlon Colorstay in 320 True Beige.

Hope this review helps. I'll have more coming up as long as laziness doesn't get the best of me. LOL!

Things that make me smile come in cute spheres. :3 REVIEW: EOS LIP BALM

I have tried countless lip balms that have never worked for me. My long list include the following:

- Burt's Bees Lip Balm
- C.O. Bigelow Mentha Lip Shine
- Rosebud Perfume So. Rosebud Salve
- Khiel's Lip balm & Gloss
- Chapstick
- Mentholatum Balm

Although many people swore by the said lip balms, all have miserably never kept my lips moisturized and I ended up with dry chapped lips. :(

I do smoke so I try to take care of my lips as much as I can.

Last year, I have read and seen many people rave about EOS lip balms. They come in the cutest egg like shaped packaging. Of course I knew I had to try it too...! Unfortunately, the said balms were only available in the U.S. so I kept looking for an online seller who had the said balms. I am bad at waiting for stuff I get online. I'm just the type of person who would rather buy something that can be shipped to me within the week or the next day if possible.

Luckily Get Sophisticated was in the U.S. last month and was accepting pre-order items. I asked her whether I could order the said balms since it was pretty apparent that I don't have any other choice. She said she actually planned to buy a few and sell the balms in her OL shop.

I was eager and I waited for the balms to arrive and give them a go....

In Lemon Drop & Sweet Mint
According to their website:

"Can a lip balm make you smile? We think so. That's why we invented this one.

  • Long-lasting moisture
  • Shea butter & vitamin E
  • Smoothes on clear
  • New smooth sphere precisely glides on to lips
  • Twist-off top
  • Gluten-free
  • Paraben-free
  • Petrolatum-free
  • Phthalate-free
eos lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

directions

Twist off top. Pucker up. Smooth on. Smile."
Aren't these the cutest balms ever? I mean just look at them. They look absolutely yummy!
The question is do the lip balms live up to their claim?

I would have to say "YES!!!" I actually super duper love these lip balms. The packaging is so unique and ingenious! It gives you precise application every time.
These are quite cheap because you will be getting a lot of the product. I just plan to use it like a conventional lip balm when the product runs out and use my finger to get the product.
They taste and smell are absolutely divine! The taste & smell isn't strong but you will get the feeling that you are getting the flavor of the fruit/variety you purchased.
- Sweet mint gives my lips a cooling, tingly sensation but it's not over powering or too strong. I'd say it's just the right blend to give my lips a boost and feel cool.
- Lemon drop has a really mild flavor to it. It certainly doesn't taste like lemon but tastes like lemon cookies. :3
The packaging as I mentioned is the cutest but may not fit into your tiny purses. That's the only downside I can think of.

The balms are clear and not heavy on the lips but you'll feel its presence on your lips. I think lipstick or lipgloss can be applied over it.
I am also curious as to how these balms retain their shape?!? As I said these balms are ingenious and I absolutely love them! The only problem I have is, I keep re-applying them at each chance I get because I just really love them. LOL! But I can also attest to the staying power of the EOS lip balms because when I wake up in the morning I can still feel that the balm lasted throughout my sleep.
If you are also looking for a good balm. I suggest you give EOS lip balms a try.
Definitely worth every cent you spend for it. ;)

UPDATE: I forgot to mention  Get Sophisticated has many onhand items from the U.S. you girls might want to go visit her shop. She also accepts pre-orders.

NOTE: I bought the balms with my own money. :) I am not affiliated with the seller nor EOS.
